Listed below are each of the partner organizations that participate in regular Swan Lands Coordinating Committee meetings in the Swan Valley. The Swan Ecosystem Center developed this multi-stakeholder group in response to the announcement by Plum Creek Timber Co. that it planned to divest of 20,000 acres over 5-7 years in 2002. This group has met roughly four times per year since that time. The group does not make decisions, but the meetings provide an opportunity for state and federal agencies, community organizations, and Plum Creek Timber Co. to stay up to date on each others' programs and look for opportunities to coordinate in ways that benefit the conservation and community values of the Swan Valley.
